Maria Elena Bello
Maria Elena Bello, born April 18 1967, is an American actress as well as a producer and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (99), Coyote Ugly 2000, The Cooler 2003, A History of Violence 2005, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor 2008, Grown Ups (2011), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016) were just a few of her film roles. Bello has appeared on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998) and also in other roles that featured her as the star, such as Michelle McBride (2016 season) and Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born on 18 April, 1967 in Norristown in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Kathy, a school nurse and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She was raised in a working-class, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Bello was a student of political science at Villanova University. Bello continued her training in acting by participating in various New York theater productions after she graduated. Bello was married to Dan McDermott and has a son named Jackson. In November 2013, she wrote about having a same-sex relationship with her then-partner, Clare Munn. The book she published was titled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the labels we give ourselves (Dey Street Books April 28 and 29, 2015).
