Kyra Minturn

 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was conceived on August 19th, 1965. She is an American producer and actress. She is most famous for her role as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick received the Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson and also an Emmy Award 2010 for her portrayal. Following the seventh season, Sedgwick was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in 2010. The series ended on August 13 in 2012. Sedgwick is also famous for her recurring role in the role of Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick got an Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline Wuntch in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film credits include Oliver Stone's Born On the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's Solos (1992), Heart and Souls (93), Phenomenon (2000), What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). She was also in The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was born in New York City, the daughter of Patricia (nee Rosenwald), who was a speech instructor and educational/family therapist , and Henry Dwight Sedgwick V, a venture capitalist. Her mother, who was Jewish was of English and Episcopalian heritage. Sedgwick declares that she is Jewish and claims she attends Passover seders.
