Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 January 1981) is an American political commentator. Her previous roles included a presidential candidate and an anchor on TV at MSNBC. She's often a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and co-host of The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball have decided to stop the show in May 2021. This was in order for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball is a co-host along with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News as well as programs like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball says that her renewed political interest due to her experience as a mom in the 2008 primaries. In addition, she observed the US presidential election during her time working in Jordan. She was able observe how the outcome affected people in that country and, as a result, became aware of the global impact US politics have on the lives of people around the world. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. From June 2012 through July 2015, she hosted the MSNBC program The Cycle. She created the People's House Project, an organization that promotes Democratic causes in May 2017.
