Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political adviser who served as the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 222. As a member of the Democratic Party she has previously been a part of the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House assistant communications director (2009–2011) as well as the spokesperson for the US Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was a contributor to CNN's political coverage of 2017 to 2020. Psaki began her career in 2001, as an influential political contributor to CNN. She was involved in the campaign for re-election of Tom Harkin (Iowa Democrats) for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack (Iowa Governor). Psaki was later appointed as deputy press secretary to John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki was also the director of communications to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and was the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was appointed the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 election campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was named spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. [20] Her hiring at the Department of State fueled speculation that she could replace White House Press Secretary Jay Carney as he left for the White House. However, on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014, it was announced that Josh Earnest would replace Carney. She was recalled to the White House as Communications Director in the year 2015 and was in place until the end.
